Kit Cunningham Golson studied art and design at Parsons School of Design in New York City, the Minneapolis College of Art & Design, and Canada College in the San Francisco Bay area. She is an artist in her spare time and serves on the board of directors of several arts and design organizations.
She has lived in the south of France, and she tends to bring the atmospheric feel of that region into interiors that she designs. She works primarily in the San Francisco Bay area but travels to clients in other regions. Born in New Orleans and reared in the deep south, she learned to appreciate living with antiques, the use of colors to mitigate the searingly hot climate, gracious elegance in daily living, and she developed an appreciation for art and the clean, uncluttered simplicity of modern design.
